Are you living with an autoimmune or chronic condition—such as Hashimoto’s, rheumatoid arthritis, or fibromyalgia—or dealing with ongoing symptoms like fatigue, pain, or brain fog that don’t fully make sense?
A personalized, integrative approach can help you uncover what may be contributing to your symptoms and lead to more good days.
Many insurance plans cover nutrition counseling, often at little or no cost to you.
During nutrition counseling sessions, I focus on:
Understanding your health history and current symptoms
I take time to review your full health history in detail—more than what’s typically possible in a short doctor’s appointment. This allows me to identify patterns and overlooked factors.
Identifying potential dietary stressors and nutrient deficiencies
Even people eating what seems like a “healthy” diet can react to certain compounds in foods, while still missing key nutrients. I help you find these hidden stressors and deficiencies.
Creating a personalized nutrition plan tailored to your body and goals
Using what I uncover from your history, symptoms, and reactions, I work with you to develop a plan that feels manageable to you, and we adjust the plan as needed.
I am based in Raleigh, NC and work with clients across North Carolina via telehealth.
I am currently in-network with BCBS, UHC, and Aetna.

I studied nutrition in college and graduate school, but after following much of the nutrition advice I had learned, I struggled with my own health. It wasn’t until I started focusing on what worked for my body that I began to feel better.
This personal healing journey inspired me to start practicing clinically, helping others who feel frustrated when “healthy” choices don’t lead to better health. I have a special interest in supporting people with autoimmune and chronic inflammatory conditions because I have scleroderma, which is now in remission after personalized changes to my diet and environment.
My work combines science and lived experience. I hold an MS and PhD in Nutrition and Food Science from North Carolina State University, and I am a Building Biology Environmental Consultant and Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist, certified through the Building Biology Institute.
I take a highly personalized approach with each client. Together, we identify dietary and environmental stressors affecting your well-being, reduce those stressors, and support your body with the nutrients and strategies it needs to function at its best.
